Hi,Everyone,
My ggrandparents,Franciszek Kuczynski and Veronica Michalska came from Prussia in Feb,17,1882 on the ship Lessing.
His birthtown was Wielonek,district Samter. Birth state Posen Konig Preussen,Deutshland.
Town was Hof Karbow,District Domanidamt Lubz ,house 9b.
Can you show a map of this area and about how close it is
to Slawno, Wielkopolskie ,Poland ??
Is this area in E or W Prussia, Poland or Germany ??
I would like to find any records of them.Where can I find them or write for them ?

Wielonek is 2 kms west of Ostroróg, 10 kms west of Szamotuły (Samter), 50 kms north west of Poznań and 70kms west of Sławno Wielkopolskie.
The nearest parish to Wielonek is Ostroróg. Other nearby parishes include Otorowo, Szamotuły, Zajączkowo and Wronki.
