Post subject: help finding docs - Wara, Poland and Uhryniv, Ukraine
My grandfather is from Wara, Poland. I have his baptism certificate and know his parents and siblings from family oral history but would love to find census records, etc.
Wladimir Zubko (DOB 1921) son of Mikolai (son of Ivan and Anna Torun) and Ana Skubisz (daughter of Andre
and Catherine Tyka); siblings Sophia, Bratislawa, Juzek, Kazimera
My grandmother is from Uhryniv, Pidhaitsi Raion, Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine. Was this ever part of Poland...or maybe Galacia? Her mother died in 1936, would love to find out what she died from. She left her town in 1944 and spent the next 7 years in DP camps. Coming to the US in 1951. Her father died in 1950.
Julia Wyrsta (DOB Aug 4 1931) daughter of Peter (son of Ivan and Maria Anzel) and Anna Zelinski (daughter
of Jakiw and Maria Gurski; siblings Joseph, Stefa, Emil, Gena, Roman, and Mary
I'd love to find census records and records for parents birth/death.

and small parf of Hłudno here http://geneteka.genealodzy.pl/index.php?op=gt&lang=eng&bdm=B&w=09pk&rid=5567&search_lastname=&search_name=&search_lastname2=&search_name2=&from_date=&to_date=
and here http://poczekalnia.genealodzy.pl/pliki/AP-Przemy%C5%9Bl/dekanat%20Dynow/parafia%20Hludno%20-1784-1862_s6874/
Uhryniów, Podhajecki region, located in Polish Kingdom since XIV century, roman and greek catholic parish was located in Podhajce. There are some remains of vital records free online here http://www.agad.gov.pl/inwentarze/KLwo301new.xml roman catholic, particulary: baptism 1778-1779, births 1787-1823, b-m-d 1877, 1885, 1890, 1899, 1902, 1904-1906, 1907-1912 so, there are some chances finding parents and other Julia's family members. Dont know about greek catholic records
These are records for parishes in XIX century, in case your villages changed parish in XX century, there would be more records to find.
