Post subject: Plewa-Przybylko from Lipnica Dolna
Greetings,
I am looking for any relatives of my grandmother Marianna Plewa. She was born in Lipnicia Dolna about 1891. Her mothers maiden name was Przybylko. She had a brother and a sister who came to the US around 1911, however two other sisters remained in Poland. I have been to Lipnicia and unfortunately was not able to locate any family members of my
grandmother or her mother. I plan on returning in the summer so any information or suggestions on where to look would be most appreciated.

Hello Susan,
This may be old information, however, there were/are Plewa families living in Cresson and Lilly, PA. Those two towns border each other and are located in south central Pennsylvania (approx. 85 miles east of Pittsburgh). I do not know anyone in those families, but it may be a start in terms of collecting data. While I no longer live in PA, I maybe able to get additional information for you.
