Post subject: Johannes & Catherine Migala Zachman Posen area
Johannes Zachman was probably German. He married Catherine Migala AKA Migawianka, in 1832 in Runowo, Wrzysk Parish in German Poland. Witnesses were Adam Shultz & Johannes Musial. A daughter, Veronica, was baptized in 1939 & a son, Alexander, in 1844, giving Lubiewo as their village. Veronica's godparents were Carolus Petriek & Amalia Knan. In 1865, in Walwelno, she married Franscicus Kasprowicz. Alexanders godparents were Johannes & ? Jurazewski. They were from Minikowo, just north of Lubiewo. Alexander married Antonina Czulkowska in 1868 in Wawelno. Wawelno is between Runowo & Lubiewo. A daughter, Marianne, was born in 1847 in Wierzchuchin. She married Laurentius Latowski in Wawelno in 1863. Son, Carolus, was born abt 1837. He married Paulina Zemple in 1874 in Slesin (Bydgoscyze) in 1874. Alexander & Carolus immigrated to Rochester New York in 1881. They stayed in that general area until there deaths. Alexanders daughter, Wladislaw (Ida) married Adam Sluchocki in 1886 & moved to Duluth, Minnesota where they finished their lives.

Sluchocki, Francisca Antonina was born 15 January 1892.
Zachmann, Wladislawa married Sluchocki, Adam 29 September 1886 in St Boniface Church.
Zachman, Marianna married Weit, Josephus 27 September 1892 in St Stanislaus Church.
Zachman, Frances married Draheim, Leo 23 July 1896 in St Boniface Church.
Zachman, Helen M. married Ahrens, August Frederick 22 September 1917 in St Boniface Church.
Many baptisms under Zachmann. Also some deaths.

Post subject: Sluchocki/Zachmann in Rochester N.Y.
Thankyou so much for the link. I got a lot of exact dates I didn't have. Also found 2 children I didn't know about (died as babies). There may be more on my Sluchocki side but not knowing how the name may have been spelled by someone else really makes it hard sometimes.
