Im researching my family tree under surname MARCHWINSKI . My great grandfather Michaeli/Michael Marchwinski and wife Anna ( nee Dudek ) both born estimating bet 1865-1875 near Warsaw ........Michael & Anna had 4 sons Jan/John , born 1889, Kazmierz born 1892, Josef/Joseph born 1897, and...youngest-- Stanislaus/Stanley born est after 1897.
Around 1903 3 of these sons Jan, Kaz & Josef came to US- settling in Pittsburgh,PA Parents Michael & Anna AND youngest son Stanley NEVER came to US and stayed behind in Poland ( Near Warsaw. ) If there are any connections out there that might match up to this scenario let me know.

Hi,
according to Jozef's arrival (link below) he said the place is Kopaniny. However, there are 43 places with that name in Poland. Five of them in mazowiecki province.

Edited; his Draft Registration Card reads Warszawski gubernia, that is, most of what is now the mazowieckie province, though parts of other provinces were included. https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gubernia_warszawska
