Felix Dabrowski born 1794

Or any documents regarding any of these people would be greatly appreciated thank you..

Do you know their places of birth/death? They are most likely required to locate the records

I did not find Wormiany near Telsiai (there is no place named Telisinai in Lithuania), but there is a place named Worniany which was formerly a part of Vilnius province in Lithuania. Its records are available online:

The Telsze (Telsiai) parish records are also available online, you could look for Felicjan's birth record here: http://www.epaveldas.lt/object/recordDescription/ARCH/1480/1/26

Well no such luck on finding what I was looking for on that site maybe I over looked it or maybe he wasn’t christened there. I do have this baptism document of his son Ludger. A gentlemen deciphered it for me years back and picked out a few things I was just curious if there were anymore value to in it than what he told me any idea what it says. Thank you

It happened in the town of Radziejów on 14th April 1845 at 10:00 am. Appeared before us Felicjan Giedwiłło, an inhabitant of the town of Radziejów, 39 years old. He showed us a male child, born in the town of Radziejów on 26th March of this year at 1:00 pm. The child was born from his wife, Franciszka Dąbrowska, 45 years old. The child was given the name of Ludgier.

Gvillo - there are some records from Varniai available online, but unfortunately, it seems that there is a gap between 1800 and 1835 when it comes to birth records. They are also in Russian.

The physical records are stored in the Historical Archives in Vilnius, perhaps they could help you more, this is their email address - [email protected]

I’ve been in contact with the Lithuanian national Archives but I have a question maybe you would know and maybe not any idea why there is a 1800-1835 time gap on having access to online records? Do you think in time the records will be scanned and put online or do they not exist at all? Also is there an online source that has records past the time gap? Thanks so much

Gvillo - the Lithuanian archives should have the best information about the reason for the mentioned gap.

From our experience, unfortunately, many records have been destroyed in the past (usually because of wars) and are not obtainable anymore.
