The picture is of the bottom of the boot, it is engraved and I am wondering what it says.
Can anyone give my an idea?
Thank you, it means a lot, my grandmother was adopted and no one knows anything about her parents.
She was born on the Neva River and these boots are engraved with a picture of a family in a canoe and this writing on the bottom.

Ann,

I asked one of our colleagues, genealogist from Ukraine, Alex. He responded "I can only suppose that it says ZHUPFLEN
(ЖУПФЛЕН), this could be just in the middle and the beginning and the ending of the word is missing"
