Strożęcin, and Starzcewo-Wielkie. Can anyone tell me the nearest parish churches for these two towns? They're both in Plock or Plonsk.

Star,

Plock diocese website has changed and can't find any church now.
However, if your intention is viewing records online go to
http://poczekalnia.genealodzy.pl/pliki/AP-Mlawa/
and scroll down the list to Raciaz and Plonsk.

I guess you are interested in parishes from XIX centuary or so, an old geography book may help you.

1. Stróżęcin (discritics are important here)
http://dir.icm.edu.pl/pl/Slownik_geograficzny/Tom_XI/413
righ side: gmina Stróżęcin, parafia Gralewo ==> parish Gralewo
on Google maps:
Gralewo, płoński, Poland
Stróżęcin, Poland
less than 3 km distance

http://www.diecezjaplocka.pl/parafie/gralewo-sw-malgorzaty

2. Starczewo Wielkie
http://dir.icm.edu.pl/pl/Slownik_geograficzny/Tom_XI/232
left side, item 3): gmina Sarnowo, parafia Skołatowo ==> parish Skołatowo

http://skolatowo.ugu.pl/?page_id=6

Actually the above page of Skołatowo explains how French soldiers (Napoleon) destroyed the city

Jej upadek spowodowali dopiero francuscy żołnierze w roku 1806.

The parish fall was caused by French soldiers in 1806. 1200 of them were stationed in Skołatowo. Due to the severe winter, they warmed up burning buildings, looted the villagers to the last shirt, did not spare the church. Yes Skołatowo deteriorated, and the church was closed as collapsing.
