Allesandro,

This is death record of Franciszek Richter from 1881.

I had an opportunity to visit Wołuszewo a year ago. Click here: http://travel.webshots.com/album/572347531PEQwWD to see a few pictures of the village I took then.

There is also Rita in our Forum whose ancestors also come from this village, I think you can contact her through private message: http://polishorigins.com/places/search/string/woluszewo as well as read thread in our Forum she created: http://forum.polishorigins.com/viewtopic.php?t=209

If you need full translation of the record attached please contact me.

Hi Zenon, how are you.

Do you know if this village Woluszewo was a settlement of germans who came from Germany to Poland ?

Could you translate the document to English ? (see attached)

Well, I still looking for information about my family richter, my Great-great-grandfather Nicolau Richter (Mikolay), born in 1857/58, came to Brasil in 1890, with is wife and two children (Josepha Karacheski/Karaskiewicz/Karaczewski and Wladislav and Sophia)

I'm still looking for the right place where Nicolau was born, but could be Raciazek.

I found out in the Mormom's microfilm the Franciszek Richter's dead record (Nicolau's father).

So, if I find out some information about Franciszek in this record I could find out more about my family.

Thank you very much
Regards
Alessandro

All I know about history of Wołuszewo is the note from quoted many times before Słownik Geograficzny Królestwa Polskiego (Geographical Dictionary of the Kingdom of Poland). According to it in the second half of 19th century there lived 437 inhabitants and the village belonged to roman-catholic parish in Raciążek. In 1827 Wołuszewo was a private village and belonged to roman-catholic Słońsk parish. There were 38 houses in which lived 340 people. In 1583 it was owned by Piotr Sobiesierski and Wojciech Sobiesierski vel Borzewicki. There is no mention about German settlers.

Allesandro,
Did you learn more about your village Wołuszewo? I saw that Wołuszewo was included in a website about German Genealogy along the Vistula at:

http://www.upstreamvistula.org/History/History.htm

The subject of German settlements in Poland is interesting to me because I found some ancestors who lived near Freifeld, Poland which was a German settlement in southeastern Poland, near Cieszanow. It was very close to the Ukraine border.

Alessandro,
Eu indexei diversos filmes de Raciazek e Slonsk, que estão neste link:
http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~polwgw/polandarchives.html

abs,
Magroski
