Post subject: Research help with Bartkowski and Michalsko surnames
Hello all,
I am looking for any research tips to help me find more information on my great grandmother Ewa Bartkowski born Dec 16 1883 to Jan Bartkowski and Katarzynia Michalsko.
Ewa settled in Schenectady, New York with Stanley Gajewski and passed away in 1920. They had 6 children.
I attached a copy of Ewa's death certificate.
Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Post subject: You are amazing!
Magroski and Elzbieta,
You two are amazing. Thank you so much for your assistance. This is such a break through for me. I had spent a lot of money to in NY to obtain the death certificates for my Grandfather, and his parents. I know very little of my polish heritage, but I have always felt very connected to Poland and I hope to visit someday with my daughter. I wish I could tell my ancestors that their struggles and decision to move to America proved to be very positive and their family (my family) has been very blessed.
