Hello! I'm searching for people who remembers (maybe, from their elder relatives) WANDA SLAWINSKA, prisoner nt 22064. She was transfered to Auschwitz in October 1942. They've been together in a train with SEWERYNA SZMAGLEWSKA, ANNA LEWANDOWSKA - well-known Nazi victims from Radom district. Please, check my profile. I'm going also to search for data on this subject, but I'd like to contact some people related to Wanda because people's evidence is the best kind of information.
Unfortunately, there is no data about a place from where Wanda was.
Places mentioned in "Ksiega Pamieci..." (main sourse of information):
1. BIRTH PLACES of prisoners:
- Radom
- Radomsko
- Warsawa
- Kielce
- Sosnowice
- Poreba
- Piotrkow Trybunalski
- Kobylniki
- Jadowniki Gorne
- Przyglow
- Lodz
- Wrzesnia
- Skurpie
- Chornowka
- Zarnowica
- Przybyszew
- Grodno
- Ostrowiec
- Goleniowy
- Holowsko
- Strupia
- Cmielow
- Lipowe Pole
2. PLACES OF ARREST and PRISONS:
- Dobieszyc
- Cmielow
- gestapo w Ostrowcu
- Wolca Bosowska
- Raczyce
- Pinczaw
- Pawiak
- Piotrkow
- Garbatc
- Radom prison
- Kielce prison
- Starachowice prison
Any information about that transport of prisoners is needed. Please, let me know if you know anything. Every detail really helps me in searching.
With hope,
Furstone

Hi Furstone. I have checked Your profile, and i dont know how accurate is your information. If thats really Wanda Sławińska (Hyżycka) You look for, then she had a daughter Maria Irena Sławińska h. Nałęcz. Her obituary is here http://nekrologi.wyborcza.pl/0,11,,301715,Maria-Z-Na%C5%82%C4%99cz-S%C5%82awi%C5%84skich--Janczewska-Podkuli%C5%84ska-nekrolog.html and uprisoner "profile" here http://www.1944.pl/historia/powstancze-biogramy/Maria_Slawinska check for her bio and publication.
From that we know she was buried in family thomb in Szczegocin. It might been misswrtitten however, i cant locate such a place. The mass was in church in Bedlno (Łódź area). Her husband and son still lived at that time, maybe is there any way to contact them.

Thanks much, Sirdan! I'll check this. Of course, not all information I give is accurate because there are often only my own versions. Thanks again!

Sirdan, Furstone,

Gmina Bedlno http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bedlno_%28gmina%29
shows gromada "Strzegocin" within "Powiat kutnowski (1867-1975)". I guess "Szczegocin" is a misspelled "Strzegocin".

Just for the record: the quoted "profile" writes Hyrzycka not Hyżycka.

Yes. Elżbieta was right.

Now we have some explaination here www.szlachta.org.pl/szlacheckie-i-ziemianskie-groby/strzegocin-parafialny.html. Wanda Sławińska mentioned there died on 28 of December 1930.

What do you think about this (see attachment, please)? It's from Kurier Czestochowa newspaper, 1946

Re: Kurier Czestochowa newspaper, 1946
Year 1946, after WWII, millions people trying to find their own displaced families (see Curzon line), by any means, bottle to the sea.

I know a case of someone from Rawa Ruska before WWII, who was emprisoned in Russia, and found back his family, wife and 2 children, with a help of Red Cross, in 1948, in Gorzow Wielkopolski.

In Kurier Czestochowa, it could be Maria Slawinska searching family and friends. Or someone else.

Re: broken link found by Sirdan
It is still in cache, I copied relevant part. It could be that someone is cleaning up on szlachta.org.pl, or updating that website, who knows.

Best,
Elzbieta
