I am trying to locate my grandmother's family. Marie / Maria Falat was born August 5, 1898 in maybe Tarnopol or Sombow Jaslo Krosno. Her mother was Julia Falat born 1874. Father's name was Joseph. Marie immigrated to America in 1912 with her mother Julia to a brother in law Jan Falat in Bayonne, New Jersey or Michal Wiczanivsky from Harklowa near Skolyzsyn. She married John Ruroede and lived in Bayonne, Hoboken and Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey USA. Would anyone have any information? Would anyone be able to tell me where I could find the naturalization intent and petition? Thank you. My email address is [email protected].
Do you have scans any of documents showing the birth place of your ancestors? There is one old Polish town Tarnopol in today's Ukraine and a tiny village near the Polish - Belorussian border. I can't locate any other Tarnopol nor Sombow nearby Jaslo or Krosno. If you uploaded documents with the places' names we could try to help you.
