Dear PO friends,

I was on genealodzy.pl the other day and posed a question in regards to my Radzimisnki-Frackiewicz (Frackiewicz-Radziminski) ancestors, and I received a reply from a man named Krzysztof. The mink he aupplied was about Calvinist nobles in the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth.
This was a shock to me because all my ancestors I can trace back are either Roman Catholic or Greek Catholic. I can't read Polish well but the link definately has the right family name. Now I am curious about my family, were they a branch that went Calvinist or did they remain loyal to Catholicism??

It seemed to me my ancestors were all very pious catholics so this came as a bit of a shock to me.

Here is the link to the djvu page:
http://www.wbc.poznan.pl/Content/47313/directory.djvu

it is on page 266 of 376

Thanks so much.

Hugh

Hello Hugh,

I can't seem to view the directory that you link to - it downloads the file to my computer, but I cannot open the file. Can you provide a step by step process to find it on the website? Perhaps I can view it directly on the site.

THanks,
Cynthia

Cynthia,

unfortunately it is a djvu file on the site as well, you need to have a djvu viewer downloaded to be able to see scans. In europe the djvu apparently is the preferred way of uploading documents.

Hugh
