I'm very curious of the origin of my surname Białoruski. Know it translates to "White Russian" in Russian language and is the name of the country, Belarus, in Polish language. My family immigrated from Krakow to the US in the late 1890s. Very curious if anyone has any information on the origin of my surname.

Surname Białoruski is a toponym coming from Białoruś - “White Russia, Belarus”.
See the distribution map: https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/Bia%C5%82oruski. Currently there are 10 people bearing this surname living in Kraków.
