Post subject: Looking for Death Act, Lipniki 1842 act 4
Hello All,
Could someone help me to find the act corresponding to the attached search on Geneteka ?
I am unable to find it on my own.
At least how to contact the person (?) who has indexed the acts.
Many thanks in advance !
Best regards
Bernhard

Hello Bernhard,
I contacted the person who indexed the parish of Lipinki. Will give you an answer when I know something more.

Hello Barb,
Many thanks for your help and involvment.
I would like to understand the way to proceed.
You have clicked on the icon "A" below "Uwagi".
On the next window, one can see that the person who made the indexation is "Incognito".
Then the simplest way is to write him a mail, via the formulaz link on the same page.
As I have already an account on "Genealodzy.pl", I have direct access to the internal mail system of Genealodzy.pl. and could have also done that.
Is that the correct way to proceed ??
I imagine this is what you have done.
Of course I will wait for your answer.
The point is that M. Incognito's last action on the Genealodzy portal was on.....16.09.2006 !!! (If I understood well...)
Very interesting would be to see where he saw the Lipniki archive books, because I searched on Geneteka, Genbaza, and Szukajwarchiwach but I found nothing for 1842.
The document is probably somewhere in a church, or a diocesan archive.
Let us cross the fingers !
Many thanks again !
Bernhard

Hi Bernhard,
Is that the correct way to proceed.
You click on the Icon A below Uwagi. Sometimes you can write an email directly. I have done this. This means that the message goes directly to the mailbox of the person concerned, not via Genetyka. Sometimes the "send mail" function does not work, then you have to go via Genetyka and check responses on Genetyka. The simplest way is to go via email.
This person was last logged on in 2006. Yes, it was a long time ago.I have noticed that too.
The records for Lipniki (1842) are in the church in Lipniki. I would think that copies are also available in the diocesan archive in Łomża.

I also wrote a message to another, who indexed earlier years in the parish of Lipniki.
Yes, let us cross the fingers!

Hallo,
A good news! The second person I contacted will help us. He has already contacted the Diocesan Archive in Łomża.

Hello Barb,
You're right, good news !!
If the archive goes up to 1808 as indicated by Geneteka, maybe we will be able to go another level higher...
Many thanks
Bernhard
