Post subject: Geneteka-understanding remarks
In the remarks section of a Geneteka search for Wojciech Mlodzianowski, on his death record the Remarks( state-
"z. Marcela Mlodzianowska, w. 52l skan98"
z=Marcela was his wife,
Questions:
Does the age 52 years refer to Wojchiech or Marcela?
What does the skan98 refer to? The death scan is No. 28, scans referring to Marcela do not mentioin No. 98

Wojciech Mlodzianowski died at the age of 52. He left behind his wife, Marcela.

Barb - so the 'skan' link in Geneteka takes me to a different book than the one you linked me to.

Thank you! It has been about 10 years since I worked with my Polish Genealogy, have been working on my husband's Swedish and Finnish line, hard to transition back! Would appreciate some translation, but absolutely no hurry.

Nur
It happened in the town of Nur on January 28th/February 9th, 1899, at 10. a.m.
Appeared Julian Terlikowski, 38 years old and Józef Lenarczuk, 50 years old, both owners, living in the town of Nur and they declared that on January 26th/February 7th, at 2 p.m., died in the town of Nur, Wojciech Młodzianowski, an owner, 52 years old, a son of Franciszek and Antonina the Młodzianowski spouses, who was born in the village Żebry Laskowiec, living in the town Nur. He was survived by his wife, Marcela Młodzianowska nee Dombrowska.
After convinced myself about the death of Wojciech Młodzianowski this act was read to the declarants and it was signed by Us and Julian Terlikowski, the second declarant was illiterate.
Priest Mieczysław Kapszewicz, the Nur parish priest, serving as Civil Registrar.
