Looking for information on my grandparents. My grandmother name was Elizebeth Mista from Podkarpackie, Poland and my grandfather Michael Trala from same place as my grandmother.

Could they have been from Swilcza and/or Woliczka? In Radixindex, Trala is found in the former and Mista the latter. Google says the villages are 5 minutes away from each other.

To help you we need more information than the surnames. Approximately what year are we talking about? Do you have any documents you could share with us (census, manifest ect)?

Hi Barb,

I found a little bit of information on the family.

Per a baptismal record for their daughter, Catherine, it only stated Michael was from Galicia.

Elisabeth (Polish Elżbieta) was born on October 28, 1896 in the village of Woliczka. She was baptized on October 29 in the parish of Świlcza. The family lived in house no. 21. She was the daughter of Laurentius (Polish Wawrzyniec) Miśta and Maria Misiuda.
Wawrzyniec's parents were Joannis (Polish Jan) and Agatha (Polish Agata) Hodyr.
Maria's parents were Adalbertis (Polish Wojciech) Misiuda and Ewa Cisło.
