In the attached marriage document, the first marriage at the top between Michael Zok and Mary Wisniewska. Is there any information posted in this writing that indicates where Mary was born? I have not been able to find her birth/baptism record.

I did find Michael's though. Thanks for any help as always

Hi,

There is nothing specific in the entry which indicates where she was born. The only clues are her age, the names of her parents, the fact that she was a maiden residing in Ludzisko at the time of the wedding and that her father was still living since he gave his consent for the marriage. Marcin Wisniewski was one of the witnesses and it is possible that he was either her father or possibly a sibling.

Good luck in your search,

Dave

My eyes see

Kołuda Wielka (Koluda major) As the grooms residence

Ludzisko (Ludisk) as the brides residence. The same village is written more clearly in the 4th entry on the page

Both are villages in Gmina Janikowo:

Gmina Janikowo is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Inowrocław County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Janikowo, which lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Inowrocław, 42 km (26 mi) south of Bydgoszcz, and 47 km (29 mi) south-west of Toruń. Apart from the town of Janikowo, Gmina Janikowo contains the villages and settlements of Broniewice, Dobieszewice, Głogówiec, Góry, Kołodziejewo, Kołuda Mała, Kołuda Wielka, Ludzisko, Sielec and Trląg.
