Post subject: Birth Record
Hello,
I am trying to locate the appropriate place to request my great grandmother's birth record. She was born in 1924, in what is now Orkhovychi, Ukraine. However, in 1924 that area of Ukraine was occupied by Poland. I tried the local registrar office in the region, however the could not locate the record. I am wondering if I should be contacting Poland, as apposed to Ukraine given the occupation. Any insight or information would be greatly appreciated.
