This is continuation of the topic: Dydjow, Chomicki-Stryj, Tuchla. Request from PO friend. with focus on Chomicki family.

My gggrandmother was Anastasia Chomicki, born February 5, 1869, and married to Andrew Turkiewicz. Although Andrew emigrated to the United States in 1906 I have no evidence Anastasia ever came over. The last reference I can find for her was on my ggrandfather's 1912 ship manifest listing her as the nearest relative from where he came.

Anastasia's parents were John Chomicki and Tatiana Witwicki.

I do not know where Anastasia or John were originally from but my immigrant family were all coming from the area of Dobropole in the Tarnopol Voivodeship of modern Ukraine.
