How to use Polish Digital Libraries and opening documents in DJVu format.

Polish Digital Libraries are on-line archives of polish old books and documents, maps and postcards, etc. Most of these are in polish language. Documents are stored in special format djvu that makes a document a relatively small in size and lightweight.
Main site that lists all regional libraries is here. After pressing "Search" button or "Wyszukiwanie" you can search for any document in all libraries at once. This searchbox allows only look for words in publications titles, but searching by other tags is available too.
By pressing "Digital Libraries" button, You can choose and go to each particular library to search it's content. Ater transfering to library of choice, it is possible to search words in documents text too, not only titles.

After finding interesting publication, it is possible to open document in two ways. Default option is to let internet browser handle choice. But when we click on "Try others, More.." in yellow box in right bottom monitor's corner, the another box will appear with possibility of choosing actual two ways. First way is to open document by JAVA applet, second way is to open by djvu plugin.
To run Java viewer we need java runtime first. Even if we manage to install this program, the experience of browsing djvu content may be bad, lower picture quality than djvu plugin, just few options. Smarter choice is to install native browser plugin and view djvu documents via second way. Viewing may be faster, much much better "find" option, better quality overall, many options available. What is more, djvu plugin allows make a copy and save document (or one page of it) on disk and view it later as any other document in computer. Download DjVu Browser Plug-in here, usually choice for Windows system would be: MSI 32bit IE Edition. Here is linux version.
DjVu Shell Extension Pack helps to show thumbnails in explorer window.

I hope this technical info its not too complicated and gives some new hints.
