Having trouble determining birth city...(marriage,death also). Census and other records list Posen only. Posen was never a city unto itself, was it? Otherwise such a large region. Any suggestions about where to go besides PGSA and the Poznan project? One family listed Calau as last residence and from what I have been able to determine, that is now Brandenburg area.
