I am curious about Parzygnat, someone told us that is French Last name.
Parzygnat - Parisian (Paris, France)

Krol - Austrian name

Is it correct? Crying or Very sad

Any help would be appreciates.

Arlene,

Parzygnat is definitely a polish surname. It means Chef/Cook. Here is the map showing people with that surname living in Poland: https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/Parzygnat

As for Krol, I am guessing it was originally Król - polish for king. As you can see here https://nazwiska-polskie.pl/Kr%C3%B3l it's a very common surname.

Arlene,

In one of the previous posts I wrote you a little about your Parzygnat Polish surname: http://polishorigins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1918 .

And as 'boskee' writes, Król is a very popular surname in Poland and literally means in Polish "king". Also, it may mean "rabbit" and is used especially among older people at the countryside.

Kroll is not Polish surname.

I think my ancestors were from KLIKUSZOWA, PL. near Waksmund, PL.

Where do Viktoria Kroll lived? before she got married to Edward Parzygnat? Who are their ancestors. I believe my Great Grandmother didn't like to move out of Poland. She died in Poland in 1947. I don't know why? Confused

Where Edward Parzygnat lived? Who are their ancestors. All I know my Great Grandfather never like to lives in Poland. He settled in Chicago, IL. until his death in 1935. Crying or Very sad

Seem like my ancestors moved all over the places. Question

Any help would be appreciated and you all have been great helps to all.

Thanks for adding Krol & Parzygnat.
I just talking to my cousin who know little more and we did check village on Polish map. Seem like my relatives don't know too much about histories. I think some of them are living in U.S.A. We know our Great Grandparents were poor and had farm and now our cousins are living there.

Sometime I click post and I get Polish language and sorry I don't read Polish. I am living in Chicago, IL. We have to speak English at work.

Thanks.
